The Iowa Association of Area Agencies on Aging (i4a) released a statement regarding the anticipated merger of the Iowa Department on Aging and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Service. “The Area Agencies on Aging are eager to partner with IHHS on the next steps of the merger,” said Joe Sample, i4a executive director. It is reported that the merger is to be completed by July 1, 2023.
